Sorry for my short absents. I have finally returned from traveling for a few weeks. My time we spent out on the far East Coast of North Carolina on a series of islands called the Outer Banks.
This area might sound familiar since it was recently hit by Hurricane Dorian only a few weeks ago. We arrived 3 days after the hurricane struck. The islands were hit hard, knocking out utilities, flooding the roads, and cutting off the islands from the mainland.
But as quickly as the water swell hit, it receded. Leaving a massive mess. We were fortunate that our rental house made it through relatively untouched.
So here are some of the images I captured along the coastline of North Carolina only days after Hurricane Dorian.
