BW Color - Rocky Shore Midnight Sun #229

This photo art I'm using a black and white photo in the background with the layer photo on top. It's a dark sort of setting to make it feel like night as it was already low light in the shaded clouds from the sun it cast a strange shadow over the lake and I snapped away. The colors are lowered and grained into the water for balance I didn't want it to be to much black and white but more low dark colors.

Imagine setting out back of your house looking over this view every night just kicking back with your lap top typing away on steemit about this view! That's the life! Hold on going to make a fire pit as it has a little chill in the air, might as week BBQ something good to eat while I'm at it :) Enjoy the photo art work!

It was already almost black but I still wanted to make sure it was 100% at least on the shore line so I added a layer mask and used the paint brush set to black for transparency and started to feather out until it hit the black and white photo I made of it behind it. I could use the black and white photo as a black and white photo but I'll be adding some more details to the light area to make it sit better and pop the way it should and that's going to take a lot more work. Today we have the color to offset the bright spot but the light bright area served a purpose for this setting.
