Life find its way

in #photography6 years ago

I took this picture 2 years ago on my way to work in Montreal's Jarry Park, just a few meters to the stadium where the Rogers Cup, international tennis tournament, is played.

They make holes in the ground to insert metal poles so they can build a temporary fence around the stadium since there's a part of the tournament played outside.

In times when there is no tennis tournament, they take off the fence since it removes public park space. Part of the fence had to go over a small asphalt path and this little guy decided to set his home in the pole's hole.

The sad part is that the next day I went to get the baby tree since there was no way it could survive in there. I planned to plant it in a small pot to keep it as a houseplant but it had been cut off by the lawn tractor.

The picture was taken with a Samsung Note 4.

Nature always finds its way.
However, humans are the biggest enemy.
A pity. Very good photo. Impressive.
