At any time of the day and from whatever place take a look at Sarajevo, you always think the same thing inadvertently. This is the city that lives and dies and at the same time is born and transforms. Today, the city of our most beautiful aspirations and efforts and boldest wishes and hopes - wrote the the famous Yugoslav novelist Ivo Andrić.

This capital of the country in the shape of a heart I wanted to visit for a long time. Sarajevo finally was my next destination.

Some people understand it, others don't, but what is clear is that for this city, we need to have a keen eye and a sense that, at least for a little while live with its cultural diversity and the spirit that permeates its every corner.

I begin this trip to Sarajevo by visiting the Latin bridge which lies on the famous River Miljacka.

Historical background of this bridge is essential for each person from Sarajevo. It was built for the glory of Gavrilo Princip, because just in this place he played the Assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria. In memory of this event, the bridge was originally called Princip bridge. Bosnians proclaimed this bridge as their national monument in 2004.

Before I headed to the famous street Ferhadija, I stopped next to the Eternal flame, a national monument dedicated to the military and civilian victims of the second world war. The fire burns constantly today, and the only period when it was turned off is during the siege of Sarajevo from 1992. up to 1995. Ferhadija is swarming with tourists. On all sides is expanding the smell of the traditional meat called ćevap, the line of tourists stands and eagerly await their portion of ćevap in front of the most famous restaurant where we can buy them. Visiting Sarajevo wouldn't be complete without a visiting the national park called Vrelo Bosne, which is located on the outskirts of Sarajevo at the foot of Mountain Ignam. Walking next to the Emperor's mosque, I saw a beautiful house that today is transformed into a restaurant with traditional Bosnian cuisine.
