All photos start at the Exposure. If you shoot in Auto mode, you’re used to the camera set the exposure. But most modern cameras cannot take excellent result. Improving photography skills requires an understanding of the elements of exposure. You should understand how this works together, and not rely on «happy occasion». Easy to be tempted, and use Auto mode.

But if you learn the basic knowledge of the Exposure, you will take control of your camera. I deliberately avoided complex descriptions and examples. Photography is simple. It really doesn't have to complicate it.
