Little poem made by me, photos taken with Blackbarry10.

All the photos presented are selected, in the small writing I want to express how the events of the past marked me and that in small moments they manage to attack my security.

Many times it is difficult to have enough emotional intelligence to avoid that external situations affect us, certain situations sometimes make us doubt about ourselves, but when we constantly relive those experiences and we not only doubt ourselves, but we also end up doing less; it is because something is wrong with self-esteem.

Yes, self-esteem, appreciation and perspective that we have ourselves, do not confuse it with self-confidence which is linked to the objectives and goals that we set, that a person recognizes the ability he has for certain activities, reflects self-confidence, self-esteem is a much more personal valuation, more intimate.

In other words, a person may think they are very good at playing the piano, but that does not mean that they cannot have low self-esteem. This is someone who trusts his or her ability in those specific areas, but still would like to be taller or have a better physique...

Both are influenced but it is important to know that they are not the same.

There are some foundations that sustain our self-esteem.

Society and the material world around us:

The contact with other people is one of the most important sources that we have to be able to create our own vision of the world. The relationship you have with each person in your environment (friends, family, partner) will have a great deal of responsibility for the idea of how you think you are.

Beliefs:

Beliefs are pillars that we have assumed throughout life, many of them negative, when we put our trust in negative beliefs, we nurture a huge garden of problems and low self-esteem. And although it is difficult, you can always prune and sow something new.

Qualifiers:

Each and every one of the qualifiers with which we define ourselves (regardless of whether they are good or bad) form a theory about who we think we are. When these qualifiers are mostly negative, we will inevitably have low self-esteem. Starting to define ourselves with prettier, more real words will help us start to love each other a little bit more.

The goal is to be happy. So to achieve it we must accept the things we don't do so well and learn from it. And of course, do not underestimate the things we know how to do well, but value them as they deserve.

Open your eyes and make an effort to look having a positive mind, if we realize that we have many things to value, it is easier to get out of the negative loop.

Don't compare yourself, each person is a world and you are the owner of yours. Focus on you, we all have something good to contribute.

You still have time to wipe the slate clean, forgive and accept your mistakes, that they are just a learning, a guide to do better.

Do activities that make you happy. It is the best way to find yourself and develop skills, do not pressure yourself, go calmly but do not stop.
