---- Photography - Dandelions In My Yard ----
Had me a little outing in the back yard today, with the rain being pretty full on the past two weeks there has been some considerable overgrowth happenin. the yard was in desperate need to be mowed and there was a lot of plant life which was in the cross hairs.
As much as these guys needed to get chopped down for the good of the yard (coz the real estate sez so), they are quite beautiful in design and i had to take a moment to snap a few shots before cutting them down. in the back ground you can see that the rest of the yard has been mowed and this last puff of foliage was all that remained.... like an island at sea.
This is the cycle of life playing out, today the plants were cut down, but their seeds have been spread to sprout new life in a few weeks there will be another yard full of these plants.
I like Dandelions, but since it's autumn here in Austria there are no Dandelions left, apart from the photographed ones ;)

There actually extremely flammable. If you want to see a cool trick, find a spot where the wind has blown a bunch of them against it. Light it up and it will burn a quick flash rail.
yeah have seen that been done before, but appreciate the plants too mush to set them on fire , lolz. just cutting them down with the mower is a difficult enough task, lol.
Forest fires are actually a needed part of the ecosystem. When they happen naturally or are done by controled burns. Not entirely relevant to flowers but my point being that burning plants can be a good thing.

There is a pretty big difference between forest fires/back burning and setting plants on fire for fun tricks cause it looks cool, lol. Also considering im living in the burbs with housing all round me im pretty sure there is no need for a fire break in my living space, but maybe when relocate into the bush....
I know they’re weeds but I so love dandelions...💜💜💜
its only because "we" decided that they are not useful that they have ben deemed weeds, but that is not the case as they serve their purpose and contribute to the eco space.
