My candidate for orange flower:
Tagetes - they come in many colors. Fairly easy to grow, although require removing of dead flowers, otherwise they won't look good. Long and plentiful blooming. Their smell is controversial (I actually like it, but I know people that hate it with passion).
It gets interesting when you like something that people hate :D Lovely flower, i like the design of the petals
