Ok, the sculpture seems to represent a bird "glued" to its mirror image, so the bird is most likely skimming the lake, with its beak partially submerged and tips of the wings touching the water. It is not a kingfisher because they catch fish by diving, not some kind of egret either because they hunt from stationary position. Its beak does not resemble that of a pelican, although the hunting technique seems similar. My vote goes to the bird called, well, skimmer :o)
