Phototechblog / Prime lenses are awesome...
I tested my 100mm prime lens in the Salzkammergut and was really amazed about the sharpness and color- and light depth it captures even on the very edge of the images. The aperture is larger for low light situations or minimum depth sharpness. Even on that 10MP image it is possible to zoom in far without loosing too much detail.
I habe mein Fixbrennweiten Objektiv zum ersten Mal im Salzkammergut getestet und war wirklich überrascht über die Schärfe, Farb- und Helldunkel Dynamik auch am Bildrand. Die Blende ist größer was in dunklen Situationen bwz. für geringe Tiefenschärfe sehr vorteilhaft ist. Sogar in diesem 10MP Bild konnte ich sehr detaillierte Ausschnitte machen ohne zuviel an Bildqualität zu verlieren.

For me as a landscape- and architecture photograph it is not a problem to change lenses instead of just zooming because the motive doesn't run away ;)
Als Landschafts- und Architekturfotograf ist es kein Problem Objektive zu tauschen anstatt einfach zu zoomen weil mir das Motive nicht davonläuft ;)

Ja Fixbrennweiten sind schon etwas schönes. Die Qualität ist echt super. Hab ja selbst nur ein 50er und ein 85er als Fixbrennweite. Allerdings ist man eben auf eine Brennweite eingeschränkt. Da ist ein Zoom Objektiv schon deutlich leichter.
Ja, da hast du recht. Vorallem habe ich gesehen, dass du teilweise sehr große Brennweiten verwendest. Da ist man dann mit dem Ausschnitt sehr eingeschränkt, wenn man nicht zoomen kann. Ich verwende sie trotzdem gerne, weil die Qualität einfach um eine Welt besser ist, aber wenn es schnell gehen muss bin ich auch mit Zoom unterwegs...
Ja bei der Tierfotografie ist es oft nicht so einfach, da braucht man große Brennweite um einfach näher dran zu sein.
