myday #87 - Crepes, Chocolate, Croissant & Coffee
Hello Steemians!
Grace - @photooftheday and I thought it was too good of an afternoon to be spending at home so we decided it would be nice to walk over to our local restaurant for a coffee.
We left our apartment with the sun out and flowers blooming.
The sky was incredibly blue and made for some great shots of the surrounding apartments as we walked to the pedestrian bridge to get to the other side of the river.
I asked Grace to stop in the middle of the bridge as I looked back and took a photo of her. She's was looking gorgeous as always!
After a short while we made it to the newly established restaurant where we chose a table overlooking the river.
It didn't take long to choose a few drinks from their menu. I went for the Tim Tam shake, which looked amazing, but unfortunately didn't live up to the hype. It ended up just bring a blend of milk and a Tim Tam :(
Grace on the other hand decided to go for an Iced Coffee with an extra shot of coffee. It's one of her favorite drinks.
After a great chat we finished our drinks. By this time, Grace felt like having some crepes before at went back, so we left for another nearby cafe that served some amazing Nutella and strawberry crepes.
On the way we spotted an interesting wall so Grace decided to take a photo of me - @myday.
I think Grace is becoming a great photographer! She still had the camera by the time we got to the cafe and took this shot of me looking through the menu, then ordering at the counter!
We were assigned table number 22 and shortly after the order a toasted ham and cheese croissant and Grace's amazing crepe arrived. All I can say was this food was incredibly tasty and I'm sure we will be back after again!
