Lady McBug 🐞

Coccinella Septempunctata commonly known as the Ladybug is the most common species of Coccinella in Europe and the most recognized beetles in the world.

It has two pairs of delicate red wings, dotted with eight black dots, four on each wing.

When the pair of wings is closed, two of the dots converge and appear togethe.
Its' Latin name is also "a princess with seven points."

Due to the fact it's mainly nourished by aphids which are very harmful to agriculture, it is very helpful to humans and constitutes a sort of "natural exterminator"; Many farmers have done so and are using it as a tool for biological pest control - they are released by farmers in large quantities in the fields and eliminate the pests for crops without using chemical pesticides.

Because it is beautiful and harmless to humans, the Ladybug has gained the reputation of a cute, lucky animal, in contrast to the feelings of revulsion and disgust that sometimes trigger insects in humans.
