Predjama Castle II

in #photography6 years ago

I have some more photos for you. Here's the part two about the castle with more interesting details.

When you enter the armory everything looks nice and shiny. You must like the attire and weapons.

But when you think about the consequences of the use of it it's not so fun anymore.

Just try to imagine what the wounds would look like after you face the equipment from this table alone.

They collected the water from the wall in the hallway.

The alarm bell was always ready to warn the inhabitants from the danger.

View from one of the windows.

You can see the trail at the bottom leading from the stables to the tournament site for knights battles.

Chandelier with fake modern candles.

The castle is full of secret stairs and passages.

I didn't have time to explore more about these signs.

A couple of hunting trophies in the small niche.

This is part two and I keep some more stuff for you for tomorrow.

The weekend is over.

Have a good week.

All pictures are fantastic and the castle look so interesting.

Beautiful photo story from Predjama Castle in Slovenia, @oldtimer.
This post has been featured in our post, Travel #2 - Featured Stories Of The Day and upvoted by our curation trail. Congratulations!

The armory looks brutal. I love the photo of the room with the hunting trophies. It reminds me a little of Casa Batllo. The secret stairs look awesome too.

Really fascinating place!

The thing that strikes me when I see authentic armor is how much smaller the people were then. At 6 foot I would have been quite large back then. I always enjoy your blogs. Enjoy your Sunday.

I had the pleasure of seeing the first part and it was great, you dedicate yourself to every detail for me it is like a vicita guided to this wonderful place, thanks for sharing, excellent photos!

Las imagenes que nos muestras de ese castillo son impresionantes @oldtimerEs muy buena la historia que debe haber ahi y merece ser contada

howdy sir oldtimer! man that is so interesting, I'd like to try on a suit of armor just once to see how it felt. Probably wouldn't even be able to walk in it. Wonderful photos and educational as well!

Is the left glove on that table giving the finger?

It used to be used in Purana era. This is a very good device.
