[Bari 11] A new variety of mango plants - Some specialty of Bari 11 mango plants

Mango is a favorite fruit of all. But how good it will be when our favorite fruit is available whole year in our country those who love to eat mango. So for this purpose, the Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute has similarly invented the varieties of a mango. The name of this mango variety is Bari 11 which is a new type of mango which gives mango all year round. As a result, you can collect and eat mango all year round.

Some specialty of Bari 11 mango:

• Bari 11 gives fruit throughout the year. Gives fruit three times in a year March, June and August.  The fruit (11.3 cm) tall and the average weight of each mango is 300-350 grams. 
• The raw mango skin is light green. Then slowly it becomes yellow.  The height of the mango tree is 6-7 feet. In some parts of the tree, some areas are mango, some parts are raw mango, some are ripe and mangoes. So through a tree we can see the mango's 'life cycle'.
• 60-70 mango can be collected every year from this species of 4-5 years old tree. Also, one species of this variety contains about 50 kg of mango a year.  
• There are 5-6 mangoes in a cluster of mango plants. This high yielding mango is suitable for cultivation in all areas of Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Myanmar.  
• This mango is the whole native mango variety. It is caused by naturally occurring hybridization. And you know it's delicious to eat, but there's a little fiber.  

Suitable land for cultivation:

Medium high land and loamy soil Suitable for Bari 11 mango cultivation.

Proliferation: 

Propagation can be done through seeds or pen. The production of seedlings from seeds is not available like maternal leaves. So it is better to produce and reproduce the varieties of mango seedlings through pen. In this case Jyashtha-Ashar / Bhadra-Ashwin (May-June / August-September) is the best time.  

Yield: 

Bari mango 11 yields 22,000 kg / hectare or 22 tonnes / hectare. There are also 80-90 kg of mango in every 0.03 Bigha.  

Availability: 

Bari 11, this species is now being cultivated in all the horticultural research centers of Bangladesh. Scientific officers are working to spread this species everywhere in the country.  

Chances: 

Actually, Bari 11 gives fruit throughout the year, so in future, this variety of mango cultivation will increase. Beacause it is also possible to cultivate on the roof of the house.
