Posting to the new Landscape Photography community.

This is the view of Lake Pedder from the shoulder of Mt Anne, South West Tasmania. Lake Pedder, originally a small glacial lake, is a dammed man-made lake created in 1972. It's a controversial subject in Tasmanian and Australian environmental circles, with many calling for the removal of the dam and a return to the beauty of the original lake. Even still, it's quite a stunning lake now.
