I'm on the fence about aliens existing, but I'm almost certain they haven't visited us yet. I think UFOs are more likely top secret technology, being developed by a small group of individuals or larger organizations.
I fully believe there is intelligent life elsewhere in the cosmos. However I think they either haven't bothered with us because we are so utterly primitive, or they lack the technology to visit us, much like we lack the technology to travel out into the stars to seek them out.
