Beautiful, Ugly Green Fly

I was busy photographing the beautiful Pincushion Protea below, when I spotted this Ugly Green Fly sitting on it. It almost looks as if the fly has some flying goggles on, I suppose it is to see better when flying!! LOL Below you can see it sitting on the flower.

Just look at that face and the interesting flower on which it sits.

Although the fly is quite ugly, I just kept on snapping away, so the next number of photos are of the fly in different poses!! Luckily the fly was quite lazy and did not fly away, as I had to come quite close to take these pictures!!
