A little twist about African racial hair drama - Amazing Afro hairstyles
Recently in South Africa Pretoria High School for girls had a hair policy forcing young black girls to straighten their hair using chemicals as it looked untidy. This was met with political parties interfering and accusing the school:
“to directly suppress blackness in its aesthetics and culture”
To add a little twist the British Hairdressing Awards (YES, BRITISH) has an Afro hairdraisser award category which showcases the artwork and beauty of Afro hair and here are some of the 2016 hairstyles that really stood out for me:

Nice article, I personally don't like these fancy hairstyles you show in your post, I like natural hairstyles more (like the girl in the top left of your second photo), but ladies always like to go for more exotic looks. But this is only me.
