📷 Italy. Castello di Torre Alfina

in #photography5 years ago (edited)

In Italy, there is a small but very pretty village of Torre Alfina in which is located its own small but formidable castle — Castello di Torre Alfina. Thick walls, towers with loopholes — everything is as it should be.

I really wanted to take an evening photo with the "blue sky" of this not very famous castle. In early spring, the weather was not at all happy: at dusk, @kibela and I stood on a plowed field knee-deep in mud in a pouring rain, I sheltered a tripod with a camera from gusts of cold wind, and she kept a small umbrella over us that covered only half of her body and we got wet pretty soon.

Surprisingly, on the the photo all this is not visible, only the tops of the trees a little blurred)
