Panoramic photo of Porthtowan beach in Cornwall, England
Porthtowan is a popular surfing beach. I took this photo towards the end of September, the beach is more busy in July and August.
There's a good walk along the coast path from Portreath to Porthtowan and this is the view as you go down to the beach. The path continues on the other side to the next beach, Chapel Porth. On some low tides, it's possible to walk along the beach to Chapel Porth but be careful, as the tide comes in quickly and there are no paths to climb the steep cliffs.
I used the panoramic seep mode to take this photo.
