When exploring a country there is much to see and do. Trying the food, seeing the views and exploring the history are the most common things that people will be sure to pack into their plans when going away. There is one other thing that most people sub consciously add to their plans and that is shopping. When going away, we all want to get access to things that are either unique to a country or are much cheaper. Whether its souvenirs, food or clothing, there is much to be seen when looking for some goods to take back home.

On my trip to Australia I was well aware of many things I could look forward to bring back home to China. In fact, some of the greater risks one may carry is broadcasting their travels well ahead to their friends and families. The requests for gifts and an almost mule like service was pretty uncanny but over the years I have wizened up to this. Travelling lean and being honest about what can and can’t be done is the best solution to avoid disappointment.
