Tibetan Getaway

Sometimes when travelling around its easy to let things get a little tiresome. Without proper planning, many things can seem in a rush. With a tour, it’s important to pre plan and arrange for the right amount of pit stops to relax and explore the areas of interest. After a few hours on the road it was finally time for another stop for a few days. The great part of road based travel is that there is no need to head over to catch a flight or train. Transport is right outside the accommodation and it’s very easy to wheel luggage to and from the accommodation. It was time to head to my room to settle in for a while and recharge my batteries after a long while travelling. Despite doing nothing but sitting, travelling does take its toll and nothing beats some relaxation on a soft bed.

I peered outside and could see the large forest covered mountain terrain that seemed to climb into the skies. The altitude we had ascended was already fairly high and it made it made for some truly amazing views as the clouds crept over the peaks. Like little cotton wools floating across the air, I felt as if I could almost reach out and touch the sky for a moment.
