Photography or a single image I feel often captures those treasured moments in ones life, there is nothing quite like looking back and reflecting good or bad. But I also find that just like the act of writing our collective pictures can also be a art-form. The beauty and meaning of a photo can be expressed and shared in many ways including not even using a single word but instead just seeing what it makes you feel.

While I do enjoy photography I used to share those "everyday" type images that captures just those typical day to day activities, the feedback was mostly positive and so I continued sharing these "Ulog type" photos on Steemit.

Almost every picture as a story to tell right? Or at least that is what I was often been told by some of my followers when I first started sharing photos on here, and I would have to agree with them.

Last night I went to sleep just past the usual late hour, this was disappointing but its because I was looking into some old school multiplayer that wouldn't get to the point. But it's not that bad as it's still a earlier bed time compared to the previous week where I late's every night. As for going to sleep... well I couldn't believe it, this as now been the 2nd night where it's not been cold, and no the heating was not on. I didn't need to have on a extra layer and nor did I have the blanket over the sheets. As for resting it took me just a little longer to fall asleep, I think it was due to my mind being busy but it definitely had nothing to do with the cold for once. I was worried this morning it would be a little difficult to get out of bed, I woke-up around 30 minutes before my alarm I don't know why but went back to sleep. I rested past my scheduled alarm for more than I wanted to but I know I must rest to keep that horrible flu from coming back. The good thing about today and why it seemed logical to do so was because I didn't have work and so going past my alarm was not a big issue. The weather this morning was poorly bright with grey clouds taking over the whole sky which is kind of disappointing, but I guess expected because I'm off right. Still lucky for me with such a late start I didn't have work to get in for but did have plans to meet with friends later. I didn't really want to start the day this late as there were things I wanted to get done but was still feeling slightly confident I could get enough done. Glad I was right this time as I managed to get a satisfactory amount completed. Before seeing friends I was going to completely skip eating anything today as I think some overly greasy food last night is causing me some stomach pain. In the end just before leaving I was able to eat a sandwich and banana which luckily I didn't regret later. When I left the house to see friends I didn't put on the extra usual layer and this was definitely a very good idea as I was feeling warm with what I had. All day people have been talking about this storm arriving tonight and so with some worry I did still pack a extra layer away and a hat because I expected it to be raining and very windy. I felt like I had left just a little bit late but strangely we arrived at the meet-up spot exactly on time which was a first in a very long time. We had some good conversations about Disney World, travelling, music and other topics before I left which was actually nicely on time. The good thing was on the way back there was no crazy storm happening nor was the weather unpleasant, however this did mean that some of the idiots were out and about. From the continued news it seems our so called leaders seem determined to give war a chance, all I can say is it's pretty obvious to me that their thirst for conflict endangers us all. On Steemit.com I'm very glad to still see it working as it should, work on updating the look of the Steemit.com interface continues on for something more "modern" I was very worried about this but the changes aren't anything drastic and Alpha testing can now be tried. Today's Picture

As for the picture today I share some flower photography, a quick disclaimer I understand that this type of photography on Steemit has a bit of a bad reputation. This is because it was often used by spammers to make like 8 posts each day.
Hopefully as you can see from my blog I'm nowhere near making 8 or more posts per day on the subject of flowers.

I believe this was captured on the way to work near the super market as the weather was getting better, we have looked into the razor leaf's before in the area. However it was seen more from a overall perspective as we could see rose branch's and our yet to be identified white and slightly pink flower. And while some of that can still be seen in this image I did want to focus more on these fierce looking leaves. To the top left we can really see just how pointy those sharp like ends can be, but looking more to the middle we can see that the common snail seems to still snack on these if they are low on a food source. I enjoyed capturing this in black and white as I feel it makes these leaves look ever so much more menacing. We also have the unknown's here like those plants here again with those grey in colour like buds. There is also a spiky stem which I assume as to be from a rose somewhere.
