An Air Uganda Bombardier jet parked on the apron at Entebbe International Airport on the afternoon as it is refueled, luggage and on-board refreshments loaded, April 10, 2014.

Five months after this picture was taken, the International Civil Aviation Authority (ICAO) ordered the suspension of the airline's operations in and out of Entebbe.

The buildings in the background are the airport's emergency fire station, at the ready in the event of a fire during take-off or landing.

At present there is construction work underway near the fire station as part of the airport's expansion.
