First snow
In Sicily we have a rather mild climate throughout the year. Rarely, temperatures fall below zero, therefore, much more. That's why to admire a snowy landscape at a low-altitude in early December is a very rare event.

In Sicilia godiamo di un clima piuttosto mite per tutto l'anno. Raramente, le temperature scendono sotto lo zero, di conseguenza, vedere la neve per noi è un evento davvero eccezionale. Scorgere un paesaggio innevato a bassa quota i primi di Dicembre è un evento molto raro.

It was really a surprise for us to find the snow during our trip, and it's hard to understand for those who are used to it, what the view of the snow means to us. Every single snowy view, even a grove or a small road, takes on a magical character if there is a sprinkling of snow around.

Anche qua da noi è raro che arrivi essendo cittadina di mare pur essendo al nord, però le cime sono innevate, chissà che quest’anno non passiamo un natale con la neve 😁

Snow in Sicily is not very common. This is just a reminder that we live in an ever-changing world and that we must make time to enjoy its beauty while we can. Live life to the fullest each and every day. Keep on traveling!

Building snowmen, making snow angels, making an igloo...These are all really fun activies I love to do with my family during Christmas. Something about the snow and spending time with my family makes Christmas so magical.
