(large) Cat post
I did a "little" photo shoot with our two models last week but didn't had the time to do a proper edit on these shots and create a post with them. Be warned there are a lot of cat pics coming your way if you scroll further.
The models in this post are once again Micio and Chouffe, our 50% Maine Coons who are with us now for a full year today. They have grown from cute little kittens into beautiful young Maine Coon cats in their first year, Maine Coons will keep growing and developing for four years. I am so curious how big our beauties will become as they are both almost 6 KG. We hope they will keep growing and become nice huge coons as we fell in love with the species after seeing some great big coons in a documentary.
I start this post with some Chouffe shots, the little one as we call her. Still she is a rather big cat but a bit smaller then her sister Micio. Chouffe has a smaller and narrow pointed snout in combination with dark eye rim witch gives her a what surprised look all the time. The name Chouffe comes from my favourite beer; "La Chouffe", a great Belgian blond beer. And the name fits her as she is the smallest quickest one of the two and La Chouffe has a gnome as logo.
Next we have the photo shoot of Micio. We named her Micio because we love going to Italy and Micio is Italian for puss. She always has been a bit bigger than her sister and also is getting the Maine Coon
characteristics sooner then her sister. With this I mean the collar and the square mouth (like a tiger). She is a real cuddle monster when she feels like it but like Maine Coons do she loves being around us but not in arm's length.

Dank je. Maar we hebben al een hele groep aan mensen die heel graag willen dat wij vaker op vakantie gaan om de katten te mogen verzorgen. Zal je bij op de lijst zetten ;). micio heeft de kraag al mooi vol bij Chouffe begint ie nu ook door te komen.
