Penguin Beach
Has anyone been to the penguin beach in South Africa before? Boulders beach on the Cape Peninsula is home to around 3000 penguins who roam the area freely. I saw this type of penguin in a zoo before but seeing so many in the wild was amazing. They are only found on the African coast and unfortunately are on the verge of extinction. As a result, the penguins are protected by the Cape Nature Conservation. When visiting Boulders beach, one has to pay entry and gets to view the penguins from a boardwalk.
