South Pole Series 07

Today I show you a warm and cosy shot from the Antarctic region. You might think that everything down there is cold and freezing and harsh. But Sunsets are a marvelous spectacle where every you go in this great planet. I love the dramatic sky and softe tones from violet, to a soft warm all the way down to a nice bonfire yellow. So beautiful.

That said, I wouldn't suggest to swim in that water. No matter how nice it looks, it's still way to cold of the average human to survive. It's kind of mind blowing to think that something as innocent as a swim in the tame sea can be so dangerous. Sometimes nature is indeed a dangerous seductress - look, don't touch.
