A Strange Thing in Bratislava

in #photography5 years ago (edited)

When I was crossing the Starý Most (Old Bridge) over the Danube River, I saw a strange circular shape on the shore ahead of me. When I got close enough I realised it was an oddly shaped pile of... used tires!? 🙃

As you can see in the photo below, I wasn't the only one feeling confused about this. That guy seems pretty baffled about it, too. 😄

What is the meaning of this? Is it supposed to be a sculpture or something like that? Maybe a training ground for the parkour enthusiasts? Were they preparing a Saint John's Bonfire? Who knows? 🤔

I'm sure there was a purpose to it... but what? I don't know. Thanks for your visit!

That really IS interesting! It looks like a maze. It looks like public land. Very curious!

I'd sure like to know what was the objective of that thing... Eh eh! Thanks for stopping by!

I'd like to know if the local government was part of the plan. That's a lot of tires! Maybe when someone needs to dispose of a tire they are encouraged to go put it on the maze. Is it a public works earthship in the making? very odd

That's a possibility as well... but it doesn't seem like a good idea. Tires are very inflammable and storing them like that, on open ground, in a parking lot? Seems like a recipe for disaster.

It's weird all right. Some kids or drunks could easily set those on fire. Maybe it's like a crop circle and aliens made it.

That is a bit weird! It can't be that it's suposed to be decorative?

Maybe, but I don't think so.

Greetings friend @trincowski.

Let's say it's a work of art. The labyrinth is clearly appreciated.
But it really is not decorative. Another aspect that I consider negative is that it is close to that water channel. We know that tires are polluting. I hope this has been removed later.

pd: seeing one of your previous posts, you may notice that you named "steemitworldmap", until now I didn't know it. Are you a user of this?

All best, Piotr.

Yes, I've been using Steemit World Map for a long time now! Thanks for your visit.
