The Lone Horse
Not too long ago, I went for a walk and I ended up encountering this lone horse, in the weirdest place.
He was completely alone, on a small field right next to a metallurgy factory, in a small locality named Bicho (Animal).
The property where we was staying has a sign saying "To Sell or Rent" and a phone number.
He was held by a cord and I have no idea where he manages to get water. I saw no source of water around him, either artificial or natural.
He kept looking at me and remained silent the whole time.
Moments later he lost interest in what I was doing and started to eat the only thing available... grass and herbs.
Judging by his "face", the food wasn't all that tasty.
He looked rather thin to me, as if he wasn't eating enough. But the truth is, I know nothing about horses. Maybe he is in perfect shape.
What do you guys think?
Should I call the authorities and warn them about this situation? Or should I let it go?

Omg!! That is horrible that horse is very under fed and i bet if u had water he would drink 5 gallons.. omg im really sad and upset about how people do this kind of things to animals 😥

Telefona ja a policia, esse cavalo esta 100% desnutrido, não tem musculo, dá para ver as costelas, eu diria mesmo que ele está mais para lá do que para cá... O pior é que os cavalos não se devem prender assim, até os que estão em boxes saiem de vez em quando para correrem...

Maybe you can start by asking around. Its owner might just have tied him there temporarily to graze and then, he's gonna be taken into a water source. I do not think that the horse is thin. upadate us on how it goes!

sad! i think he is thin .. it reminded me of my day just similar yours, years ago,! but i could find the source of water and two or three times i took water for the donkey , who was alone just like this horse ,
maybe his owner will back soon🙄

The horse is very thin. He does not enough food or water. I don't know much about horse though.
I feel the same... ☹️
Call for sure. That animal needs access to water and ability to move around. Standing in one place like that isn't healthy for a horse.
