In my opinion, a landscape photo would be great if the photo was taken with a digital camera but I would not give up, I would try to get a good landscape photo even though I did not have a digital camera.

It's not the camera - it's the composing ... rule of thirds / foreground, midground and background is important ... and sometimes just forget this rule :)))
