Stay | Headlands Lodge, Pacific City OR

Headlands (1 of 1)-3.jpg

Since we didn’t get to do our California coast road trip over spring break due to everyone getting sick, we decided to check out a brand new Oregon coast resort instead. Let me start off by saying, this place just opened March 1st and I could not even believe how smoothly everything was already running. I know, I know, they do extensive training etc. but there was literally zero error during our entire stay which seems pretty rare these days even at a hotel that has been around for years.

Our stay here was incredible! It’s a bit pricey but absolutely 100% worth it. Every single room in their lodge has an ocean view with a balcony and you can choose between a king size or a double queen. They also have oceanfront cottages if you have a bigger party. Take note: the king rooms are definitely geared towards couples! The shower and room are divided by glass and the cast iron bath rub is right next to the bed. We had never been in a room like it before. Each room also has a gas fireplace to cozy up next to after a long day at the beach.

They also offer adventure guides if you're wanting to get out and explore together. As well as a wellness spa and a beautiful dining room. We didn't get to take advantage of anything other than the dining room but we are already planning to go back asap.

The beach that the resort is on is one of the coolest beaches I've been on mainly because you can drive right onto it. I grew up in Florida and I don't think there is a single beach like this but it makes things so much easier since you don't have to drag all of your beach-y things through the sand. You can also have a small fire in the sand and the view along with it makes for a really great time!

I cannot recommend this place enough!

This looks so fun! We did a similar trip last week to the Olympic Peninsula. We booked Airbnb and a cabin and explored Cape Flattery and the Hoh National Rainforest. These kinds of trips are fun, and make great memories!

The Oregon coast is wildly beautiful and you captured that in grand style.

Love the tones! Resteemed!

Wow what a beauyiful and place.and it's so clean 😊
