High Adventure Trip

Every summer I take a trip for a week hiking, kayaking, biking, or something like this out in the woods in a different area each year. Three years ago I spent this trip in Colorado, and the past two years I've spent it in Montana. This year I'm seeking something different and am thinking either Oregon or somewhere up in Canada!

This photo was taken in Montana last year during my third high adventure trip. I was with a large group of guys my age and after biking for about 16 miles we stopped here to take pictures and get a snack in! It was a long day of biking but the route was so scenic and the best part? Was getting to the top of a mountain and feeling the adrenaline of the wind in our face going down the other side. The worst feeling? Was the sudden realization that I was now upside down, mid-flip, about to land roughly on the ground and almost get hit by the 3 other people riding right behind me..

Luckily, I was not hit and not badly injured! I had somehow caught something in my front wheel causing me to do a full flip and for my bike to go flying into the forest! The only bad part was trying to find my bike and that I blown the front tire which we luckily had prepared for and had what we needed to fix it and keep on riding!
