What does HAIKU mean?
This past few days my posts are all about "Describing my Photography thru HAIKU Challenge"
But, are we all aware what HAIKU means?
At first, I am not also familar with haiku so I have done a minor research about it.
HAIKU is a Japanese poem. Based on my research, in its traditional form it consist of 3 lines and 17 syllables (1st line has 5 syllables, 2nd line has 7 syllables and the 3rd line has 5 syllables).
A HAIKU do not have titles, it's always in present tense, must use adjectives sparingly and are implicit. Don't use abstract nouns and don't rhyme.
Mostly, HAIKU poems are the observations of the writers about nature, love, etc. Most of the writers prefer to write haiku about nature, it is easier. It's like admiring the beauty of nature!
