Sunset on the Saint Lawrence - Across Canada, Day 67 of 92
Last year on my trans-Canadian road trip, after leaving Riding Mountain National Park in Manitoba I turned off my photography brain, put my camera away and just drove, traveling the long road through Northern Ontario, all the way home to Ottawa, there to stay and enjoy a brief respite with my family, mentally refueling and preparing for the last leg of the trip to the eastern provinces: Quebec and the Maritimes.
It was the beginning of December, and with only a month left in the year and a lot of ground to cover, I focused on the primary objective of visiting National Parks in every province, and didn't stop for much else. I raced through Quebec, aiming for Forillon NP, perched far up on the Gaspé Peninsula, pausing only to sleep and to record this sunset on the shores of the Saint Lawrence River.
This ROCKS!!
