Hello Steemian friends! Here’s my entry for this weeks “PINKY AND SPIKY DRAWING CONTEST .”
With great anticipation, the whole gang waits for the apple cider that Spiky has decided to cook. This is the first time he has tried his hand at it, Pinky usually does the cooking. It’s a big deal, and a wonderful time for everyone, because they all work hard, and participate in harvesting, and cutting up of the apple. It’s a fun thing to do in the fall, when the apples 🍎 are ready to pick. Everyone loves apple cider, even Victor, who usually only enjoys eating flies. So everyone’s excited, Pinky’s a little concerned that Spiky has left the Apple’s boiling on the stove way to long, and also that he didn’t put the right ingredients into the pot. Spiky tells her not to worry, he has got it all covered, and it will surely be delicious. Finally, they all gather around the table, and Spiky pours each of them out a big glass of hot apple cider, and tells them not to drink it right away, that he wants to make a toast 🥂 in honor of the occasion. After his lovely words he announces “drink up.” And everyone gulps it down. OH NO............... SOMETHING WENT WRONG............ YUCK 🤢 NOT APPLE CIDER, ITS APPLE CIDER VINEGAR!! Poor Spiky, he had better leave the cooking to Pinky. That’s Ok..... there’s enough apples to make another batch. We still love you Spiky❤️
