I have a cayman paper dollar somewhere from a visit in the early 2000s. If i was into coin collecting back then i would've hoarded the silver coins.
These notes have some collector value. I just don't know what as they belong to a friend. The Cayman Islands have very nice Silver coins, a lot are commemorative in nature I believed to be meant as Tourist mementos, Business/Ceremonial gifts, Collectors market and not intended as regular business circulation. There are 70 different silver Cayman coins available in the market. There are still a few more I'd like to get myself. Thanks for dropping in.
I'll be doing research on those cayman commemoratives now.
