Paris Orly Airport

On our second day we went on our way from Paris CDG Airport to Paris Orly Airport. After a big traffic jam at the Boulevard Périphérique (ring road in Paris), we arrived at Paris Orly Airport. Paris Orly Airpot is the home base for many French airliners like Transavia France, Aigle Azur, French Bee, La Compagnie and Corsair International.

You can spot airplanes on the spotter's terrace, but you have the problem of having backlight the whole day. A better place is the park. Above the amphitheater, you have the perfect view of the airport and departing aircrafts.

In the park there is a beautiful lake, a restaurant and toilets. So we stayed the whole day on this spot. Another 5 pictures, this time from Paris Orly Airport:

F-HDZP Air Corsica - Airbus A 320
Corsica is a French Island in the Mediterranean Sea. Air Corsica flies from Paris Orly Airport to many places in Corsica. In our 2 days, we saw 5 different aircrafts. Mostly they just use this runway for departing aircraft but sometimes an airplane also lands on this runway…

F-GUPE Twin Jet - Beech 1900D
This small French airline flies with only this prop aircraft. They make noise like a coffee grinder. :) It's always nice to see such a rare small prop aircraft, like this.

EC-MPS Air Europa - Boeing 737-800
Air Europa is a Skyteam member from Spain. In the background, you see the newest aircraft of Aigle Azur, but also Air France and Vueling Airlines. Paris Orly Airport is beneath Paris. On this picture towards the North you see Paris.
