탐나는 수염 틸란디시아 (20171215)
딸아이가 친구에게 줄 선물을 산다고 꼬끼오에 간다.
생활용품 전문 매장으로 우리 동네에선 작은 백화점인 곳이다.
딸아이가 선물을 고르는 동안 나는 식물 구경을 한다.
수염 틸란디시아가 멋드러지게 늘어져있다.
순간 갖고 싶은 탐욕이 생기지만
향후 일정을 생각해
소유는 미루고 사진 한 장 찍는 것으로 만족한다.
틸란디시아는 air plant로 유명한 식물인데
종류도 수십가지가 있다고 한다.
보통의 식물은 흙에 있는 양분과 수분을 먹고 자라지만,
이 틸란디시아는 줄기의 미세한 솜털을 통해
공기 중의 수분과 먼지의 양분을 먹고 자란다.
따라서 실내에 두면
수분을 흡수해 제습기능이 되고,
먼지를 흡수해 공기정화기능도 되는 식물이다.
또한 많은 이들이 간과하는
흙속의 벌레나 세균 걱정도 없는식물이다.
흙이 필요없는 식물.....

저도 오래전에 사진 한장 포스팅 한 기억이 있습니다. 먼지 먹는다는 식물인지 실험해 보고 싶다고 한 듯 합니다 ~^^ 다시보니 멋지네요.
고양 꽃박람회서 보고는 한번 길러보고 싶었는데,
몇 년째 미루고 있답니다.^^
저는 왜이렇게 화분 사진만 보면기분이 좋아질까요...제방에도 화분이30개 넘게있는데요 항상 꽃집을 지나가면 발길을 멈추게된답니다

하나만 있을때보다 여러개 묶어놓은게 이쁘네요. !!
