Gravel PS4 Racing Game Demo!

I had a chance to download and play the free Gravel racing game demo on the PS4! If you enjoy arcade style racers, you might want to check this one out!

I always loved racing games and have played quite a few of them over the years. They have transitioned from track specific games to open world racers for the most part. Gravel brings us back to our roots by seemingly taking us back to staying on the track!

I always found it difficult to adjust to open world games where you try to drive as fast as possible but you also need to watch for turns you are supposed to be taking. These types of games usually had me hopelessly lost as I missed one turn after the other! Lol!

Unfortunately, this demo only really gives you one or two tracks, depending on your definition. There are two tracks available, but they are both under the same heading. Both tracks are snow covered, whether it is snowing or not. The graphics are nice, not outstanding, but look worse with the limited visibility from the snow.

You only have four cars to choose from. I settled on the Lancia, the last choice as it seemed to be the only one that held the road! You do score extra points for drifting so the Lancia may hold you back if you are trying to drift.

The game is available for $50 for the main game or $70 for the season pass. If you are going to buy it, I would think you might as well go for the higher priced bundle!

Otherwise, Burnout Paradise is getting a remaster in a few more weeks for only $40. If you have not played this gem, I would definitely get Burnout Paradise instead. There is also a sale in the playstation store for the Need for Speed games. You can get a bundle of Need for Speed, Plants Versus Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 and Unravel for only $9.99, if you have Playstation Plus. Also, they have Need for Speed Rivals for only $5.00 for ps plus members. These deals are only valid until March 6th.
