No More Love

Loud screams we hear
Bad dreams
It's very far
But very close it seems.

Sad days
We have lost our way,
All we can do,
Is to simply pray.

Innocence is gone,
Life is no longer long,
We may not know,
But we all are doing wrong.

Joy is lost
The Holocaust
Is what we look to see
Hearts are covered in frost.

Wars are being fought,
Sins are being taught,
Mistakes are being made
Hoping not to be caught.

We are not taking blame,
We are pushing for fame,
As advanced as we are,
We are still all untamed.

We have too much pride,
Needing a guide,
Yet we will deny it
But behind lies we hide

We hurt others
Betraying brothers
Many are forgetting,
To appreciate mothers.

Lies are being fed,
Filling heart and head,
All of these years,
Innocent blood has been shed.

Children were abandoned,
Lonely and stranded,
We are all wasting the life
That we have been handed.

Always taking from the poor,
We are loving no more,
We fight to be free,
We end up starting a war.

People start fights,
No longer enjoying the sights,
While mere mortals are taking
Our God given rights.

Soldiers are killed,
Void that cannot be filled,
Pay close attention,
For pure souls have been tilled.

We all need to find peace,
We need to work together
But greatest of all,
The hate needs to cease.
