Eyes locked tight, that puddled glint
Two strangers meet, love’s secret hint
Breathing slowed, world blurred around
A special moment, can’t hear a sound
A dizzied head, now shaken with fear
Her perfect love, now shines so clear
Mouth all dry, so hard to swallow
Speech now slurred, her heart to follow
They slowly stand, their gaze still locked
His face so blank, his heart so shocked
Gentle footsteps, others part the way
Their first embrace, their special day
A single rose, clasped in her hand
Timeline combined, night so unplanned
Melted together, now for all time
Their love song, their special rhyme
