I love questions @d-pend. I think I was sleeping when you wrote this. Now it's Friday afternoon here and I'm really thinking about your questions:

Is there any rest
that restores the untarnished?

and

Is there any place
where thought lives:
independent of pain,
unindulgent of flesh?

I know you didn't intend for these questions to be answered so I won't answer them. I was stimulated like a mosquito bite to answer these questions but I will just enjoy the poem and relax.
