Untitled Poems

1-

The leaves are turning like heads to diamonds,
       sparkling beasts of nature's kiss,
        the undone hearts of
bruised cherubs. Spattered and gathered;
  reborn to the earth.

So I
The parcelled water mage
Self incumbent and declared
with timidity–

Cherish.

2-

Bong. Bong.
Object of (time spent sitting)
Does the wheel spin
   without the stressor?

I have escaped your soft harshness
  your green ease
  your forgetting ways
  your spirit shifting funk

instead I mold my mind with Neptune's
  waves
      &
  lights.

Motivation is now like building
  a pitching repertoire.

3-

Absence is the night
Yet, full like a moon
Pregnant like a stone
Boredom sets in
And stretches it's limbs
As it takes its place on the couch.

Kick the dog off
Make room for your legs
Curl them under your butt
Let your eyes become orbs
Absorbing & observing
The spoons of political molasses.

The darkness is a gem
Gather it and put it in your pocket
Fondle it as you watch the flickering box
Dream under its purple umbrella.
