Apa lagi yang kuharapkan
Tentang hidup yang tujuhpuluh tahun
atau delapanpuluh tahun jika tahan
yang kebanggaannya adalah kesukaran
dan mahkotanya adalah kesengsaraan

Hari-hariku seperti daun kering
dan pergiku berlalu begitu cepat
Tlah kusadari hakikat hidup
Memuja sang khalik tanpa merutuk

Kini jiwaku menghitung hari
Menuntun hati bijak berbudi
Wilata wilopa wirati yati
Menutup nafsu mencuci diri

Kulukis wajah di rona senja
Merangkai doa mengurai dosa
Menyusul jejak kaki sang Agra
Untuk mencari Tirta Amerta
