Black Butterfly

My Beastie @raymundovito was over visiting the night before last...we had a visitor...he came again yesterday. This morning I received this message from Raymundo...sooooooo BADASS:

Buen Dia & Happy Hump Day People, After the beauty of trusting your gut pans out splendidly, I am inclined to pen a poem of varying connotations... 

*Black Butterfly* 

When nature shows us a sign, 

it's not coincidence, 

it's by design; 

color blind are those without a 3rd eye, 

thinking it evil, dark, though it's light going by. 

Marking a change of the power dynasty, 

little did we know it was not only me, but she! 

breaking barriers of that failing convention, 

and by names we are a duo of real mention... 

A male and a female with core morale, 

a beautiful mosaic of ornate rich textile! 

invariable by its very existence, 

shown by situational persistence; 

bait and switch but nary a snitch, 

to some el diablo, 

to others a witch! 

but the core spell that is cast, 

is one eternal; one meant 

to outlast... 

integrity is sexy, 

character is cool; 

of what's next t'will be, 

neither from that school... 

thumbing their nose and 

extending that finger, 

so that there mark on 

history shalt always linger! 

Black is the new white, 

White is the old black; 

take arms and make it right, 

so it's time to take the power back! 

And travel that road that's ne'er walked, 

we not only talk, 

we have totally talked; 

by our minds, by our bodies... 

imparting a lesson that's 

not for everybody! 

It's not a coincidence, 

it's Mother Nature's sign...
