"Climbing Out Of The Rut"

Struggles broke his heart
So he walks like a stray
His soul broken apart
If only he could pray
So he forced himself stay
Though he's sick to the gut
For mice and cockroaches to play?
He is so tired of the rut.
But chance he's given not
And so his whole life's a strife.
Will he finally given his lot?
Hoping it's not a dream of pipe.
