Be Happy
It's in the stillness of the trees
Waking with a start
You slowly pat the curtain
Thinking about the meaning of life
Hoping for a glimpse of light
And birds
And hope
It's in the brightness of the sun
Sitting on the balcony
You stare at a distance
Then at the book in your hands
Trying to connect fantasy
And life
And love
It's in the darkness of the night
Lying on the bed
You stare at the ceiling
Then you realise
That you are life and life is you
And what you make of it
And how you choose to live it
Only one thing matters
What you do with your life
Do what makes you happy
And keeps your heart beating faster
Life is too short
And there is much to be done
In the end
You will be glad you did
