The pain which made the skin loud,
And ache, and shrink,

Goddamn mosquitoes;
Sucking boiling bloods in peace.
He killed it on her head,

Her soul and blood was pink.
That shit is dope, she shrieked.

—I need you to tell me, she said,
Just tell me, something, give me hope.
Give me, Hope.

Lance gave her an idyllic mountain to climb,

And for a while
Was worth her while.

At the last was but a rubbish pile.
O! Why!
These boys, theyre hopeless.
They’re hopeless, these boys
Of nowadays.

Are they even worth it?
These demons?
Are they worth our face?

Is it ever worth it, the demons to face?
