water condensing

A piece taken
                          in hand
in vain
             in majesty
to raze
   the temples
and make
                   straight places
crooked
                and whorls
into lines.
        lines of rain
    ungraspablehumid
a piece of air taken
in glory
                hyperfilial
                   magnificence
to unlock
the boxes of travesty
                 to build
 all the boxes
people huddle in,
turn everything out
   into the dank street
for a morning of grief

Ontology

    Taciturn accomplice
of motes,
turns of phrase,
and brief perishments:
                  I reach out
             a hand of dust,
   retract it
as a single drop
                      flourishes
        in my palm.

On Water Condensing.
I like the contrasting nature of water you establish here. The condensation being a process of change from intangible to tangible states (in the case of vapor), even if into a malleable and fluid state. The apparent fragility of water when held in "pieces" that scurry through our hands, can also be majestically destructive and raze temples to the ground.
Less is more, they say. Less water, more concentration; less words, more meaning.
Water can damage, can change the course of things, not only their shape.
What is it in human nature that resembles water?
The more people join crookedness, the more we are in need of a whirl to condense what's salvageable, to straighten what's been twisted.
I see the poem dismantling conformity and mimicry, emptying the trash of social conventions and washing it all out in the street. It may be a time of mourning or a time for celebration.
Some people, if in dire need of water, cheer for the rain. Others may even cry about the consequences.

A deft response to a piece which allows plenty of ambiguity in interpretation @hlezama. The central image is that of water, webbed, fogged (or even frozen) as it winds its way through our worlds (both inner and outer). The interplay between "chaos" and order is explored, as well as the idea you so perceptively noted, the balance between the traditional and the experimental, or conformity and innovation.

Thanks. I just loved the barrage of images and sensations condensed here. Wonderfully insightful and introspective.

I loved how your thought twists from "water" to "words". It's just splendid, the perception of less water making more concentration and less words making our mind being more concentrated on their meanings unlike looking at piles of words that are actually just a tool to make the meaning less concentrated, less obvious, less reachable... or sometimes even to hide a lack of meaning...

Thanks. Glad you can relate to that idea.

Splendid poem separated into two subtitles threading the same seam. The essence of being is rescued among the various scenarios that can surround it. There is something unique in the world that is so special, something like "the eye girl" of a God attentive to what happens in his world and understands or stimulates the small steps of his creatures, guiding them and sharing his flight, eagle with its chicks, the spear of the nest as many times as necessary, until they fly. Therefore, this poem expresses satisfaction, accompaniment, but also, knowledge of its own process, its own journey, the raison d'être that is beyond words. Magistral "ontological" penetration. I hug you, @d-pend.

I am honored to receive your poetic response - the abstract universal becomes real in our reflections @zeleiracordero. Suddenly vague ideation, images on images piled becomes vivid, now blurs like subtle cinematography. The small steps of creatures contain precious facets of the worldgem, revealing its face through the trillions of lives teeming upon its surface.

On Ontology
For some strange reason i thought Steemit as a whole with this image you created in my mind of words becoming tiny pieces of dust. We can see the motes piling up by the second here, "taciturn accomplices".
How many of these trillions upon trillions of words mean anything?
How many meaningful words do we need to make a difference?
Maybe, like the teacher who knows well that not all her students will turn out geniuses and settles for at least one seed that can prosper and reproduce and perpetuate some sense of purpose to avoid perishing, that "single drop" that "flourishes" in a dusty palm is the answer to the "how many..." question.

Thank you for this beautiful pondering of existence @d-pend. I guess this means you are back. I really don't want you to stop posting poems on Steemit. Part of mineopoly's existence is wrapped up in reading D-pend's poems.

Just one question:

Is the box in this poem similar to the loom case in your last poem rap?

It's been too long @d-pend, I guess we're still basking from the success of the 100 days poetry really well it's amazing to read your pieces once again.
I love the shape of your piece obviously not written In stanzas, for such a delicate theme you needed to create powerful imageries, so it could appeal, and you did so well with it too, just like

Taciturn accomplice
of motes,
turns of phrase,
and brief perishments:

It has been a while @josediccus! I'm proud of everyone who made it through. I had to take a bit of a breather from Steemit afterwards but I think I'm ready to go again :-)

Hope you're well!

oh certainly I am @d-pend it's great to have you back again rearing and going, welcome back

well then there is hope at the end of you rainbow this time :) one drop is better than a fist full of dollars ...eh dust ....

:0)

That word Ontology it seems it deals with study of nature of existence or maybe being as such.. But not sure if is the branch of metaphysic... great write up @d-pend!

Sungguh gambar tetesan air yang sangat bagus dan keren bagi saya. Saya sangat menyukai nya. Salam.
